The Burgerspittel is the senior institution of the Burgergemeinde Bern. In a refined ambiance, we offer care and support as well as numerous hospitality services for around 190 elderly residents. We cultivate a warm welcome culture and treat employees and residents openly and appreciatively.
We provide inpatient care services for elderly people with varying care needs. Our care and support are resource-oriented and tailored to the individual needs of our residents. For residents without constant care needs, we provide internal "Spitex services" depending on the situation.

Your area of responsibility
- You relieve and support our residents with heart and empathy
- You provide basic care according to individual needs
- You ensure the flow of information in the responsible area and during handovers with the day shift
Your profile
- You have training as an Assistant in Health and Social Services or Nursing Assistant SRK
- You are resilient, flexible, and used to working independently
- You are characterized by good manners and can listen attentively
- You treat our residents with respect and pleasant humor and have good oral and written German skills
