Cataloging Collaborator
Office of Culture | Cantonal Library | 30% | Chur
The Cantonal Library of Graubünden is part of the Office of Culture and is the largest library in the canton. It represents the central collection point for the Rhaetian Collection, i.e., any type of document produced in Graubünden or whose content concerns Graubünden. The Cantonal Library supports education, science, and culture by providing documents in the three cantonal languages. In addition to documents from many specialist fields, it also offers classics of literature, cinema, and music. As a consulting center for public libraries in the canton, the Cantonal Library promotes the development and coordination of the Graubünden library service.
For the cataloging section at the Cantonal Library (Office of Culture), we are looking for a collaborator starting from July 1, 2026 or by agreement.
- Formal and subject cataloging of newly acquired documents
- Processing of old collections
- Recording bibliographic records related to acquisitions
- Completed training as an information and documentation manager (CFC) or equivalent diploma
- Experience in cataloging according to RDA regulations
- Experience with the Alma library system
- Good knowledge of German, basic knowledge of Italian and/or Romansh is an advantage
- Independent and organized working method, commitment and concentration, ability to work in a team
