Context
Within the Human Resources Directorate of CHUV (HRD), the Time Management Unit is responsible for the compliance and quality of data entered into the Polypoint software, the institutional tool for managing staff schedules at CHUV (approx. 13,000 people). This tool notably allows the planning of service activities, some of which operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to ensure continuity of care and patient well-being.
The team consists of 4 managers, each responsible for a specific area and also responsible for providing training to new users of the software.
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
Mission
Ensure legal compliance
- You ensure compliance with regulations (LPERS, LTr, CCT) and develop the institutional framework in collaboration with social partners, while optimising Polypoint PEP to meet CHUV’s specificities (on-call duties, absences, etc.)
Manage a team of 4 people
- You supervise and motivate your team to improve processes, reduce delays, and enhance user satisfaction, with leadership that is both demanding and caring.
Control data quality
- You oversee the accuracy of balances (overtime, holidays, absences) and correct discrepancies, while responding to audits with rigour and precision.
Develop strategic collaborations
- You participate in cross-functional HR projects and represent the Canton of Vaud within the Romandy hospitals working group (GURP), bringing together key stakeholders to innovate together.
Advise and train users
- You support managers in scheduling and train users on Polypoint PEP, making technical expertise accessible for operational recommendations.
Profile
- You hold a higher education degree in human resources, ideally complemented by a specialisation in time management or HR information systems
- You are an experienced time management specialist, with advanced mastery of Polypoint PEP and solid experience, at least 5 years, in a regulated and complex environment (public sector, health, or large company)
- Moreover, your technical expertise is accompanied by strong interpersonal skills: you know how to both manage rigorous processes and unite multidisciplinary teams (HR, managers, social partners)
- Your natural leadership allows you to manage a team with kindness while ensuring concrete results.
- Rigorous, analytical, and solution-oriented, you transform data into strategic decisions and know how to simplify complex issues for diverse audiences
- Finally, your collaborative spirit and ability to anticipate regulatory changes make you the ideal candidate to modernise time management within CHUV.
