Job Description
Context:
As part of the growth of its Data & AI Business Line in Switzerland, Talan is looking for a high-potential profile capable of actively contributing to the development of its Data & AI consulting and transformation activity.
Reporting directly to the Business Line Director, you will play a central role in developing offers, pre-sales activities, relationships with decision-makers, and structuring the growth of the activity in French-speaking Switzerland.
Your responsibilities:
Business development and pre-sales
- Identify and develop opportunities with existing accounts.
- Detect the strategic challenges of organisations and build adapted value propositions.
- Manage complex pre-sales and responses to tenders.
- Directly contribute to achieving the Business Line's commercial objectives.
- Participate in presentations and negotiations with business and IT decision-makers.
- Develop and maintain a professional network in French-speaking Switzerland.
Offer development
- Participate in structuring and evolving the Data & AI offer portfolio.
- Identify market trends and emerging client expectations.
- Contribute to creating new value propositions around the topics:
- Data Strategy
- Modern Data Platforms
- Artificial Intelligence & GenAI
- Data Governance
- Data Transformation
Produce high value-added content to support Talan's positioning in the market.
Representation and outreach
- Represent Talan at conferences, events and round tables.
- Develop the visibility of the Business Line in the Swiss market.
- Contribute to the outreach of Talan's Data & AI expertise among decision-makers.
Qualifications
Education and experience
- Higher education (Engineer, University or Grande École).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in consulting, digital services or transformation activities.
- Significant experience in business development and pre-sales activities.
- Experience with C-Level decision-makers, Business or IT Management.
Skills
You have an excellent understanding of issues related to:
- Data strategy;
- modern Data platforms;
- artificial intelligence and generative AI;
- organisational transformation;
- value creation through data.
You are not necessarily a technical expert, but you understand the topics well enough to:
- communicate with experts;
- manage pre-sales;
- build offers;
- convince decision-makers.

Languages
- Fluent French is essential.

- Preference for Lausanne to favour proximity with teams and mobility across the entire covered territory.
