About the job
On behalf of the Swiss Police Technology and Informatics (PTI), the Logistics Department is responsible for the KEP office – the cross-corporation renewal of police uniforms. From specification and tendering to procurement and ongoing range expansion: everything is centrally managed and delivered to the service recipients via the AMZ Zurich logistics centre including webshop. The office reports to the KEP operations committee.
Your tasks
- Overall responsibility for the logistical supply of approx. 30 corps with around 20,000 uniformed officers via the AMZ Zurich logistics centre
- Support of public tenders from requirements coordination through practical tests to contract conclusion
- Leadership and coordination of inter-cantonal and multilingual committees (operations committee, working and project groups)
- Ensuring the entire ordering process – from forecast collection to delivery to service recipients
- Conducting supplier evaluations and quality assurance with defined measures
- Acting as the single point of contact for corps, logistics centre and suppliers
Your profile
- Completed business studies (Bachelor FH/Uni) or federally certified purchasing/logistics manager with solid procurement law knowledge (OÖBV)
- Several years of experience in purchasing or logistics, preferably in the public sector or security-relevant environment
- Proven expertise in complex procurement procedures and conclusion of framework agreements
- In-depth knowledge of SAP logistics or comparable systems
- Assertive, integrous personality with strong communication skills, negotiation ability, decisiveness and strong networking
- Very good German and French skills as well as English and Italian advantageous
