YOUR CHALLENGES
- You are responsible for the offline creation and optimization of measurement programs (Mitutoyo) based on CAD models
- You perform tactile and scanning 3D measurements, or ensure that these can be properly carried out by our operators
- You accompany the deviation and improvement process and also provide measurement and process support in our own production and to suppliers.
- You promote teamwork and exchange of experience in measurement and manufacturing technology
- You support new product introductions, create the corresponding product-specific manufacturing inspection plans and perform initial measurements.
- You use statistical methods (SPC) to control and continuously improve manufacturing processes using appropriate statistical tools and software (Q-DAS)
YOUR SKILLS
- Several years of experience in coordinate metrology, CMM programming and optical inspection systems, ideally with Mitutoyo
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings (form and position tolerances)
- Technical basic training and experience in machining, as well as material knowledge (especially aluminum and stainless steel)
- Strong knowledge in mathematics and descriptive geometry (spatial imagination)
- Good knowledge of relevant standards
- Teamwork and collaboration with all areas of VAT
- High degree of independence and professional support of CMM operators
- Very good communication skills in German and preferably English
- Further training in the field of ISO GPS is an advantage
- Experience in Model Based Definition is an advantage
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
