Responsible for the regional demand forecasting strategy, ensuring forecast accuracy, inventory optimisation, and overall supply chain performance. Leads the S&OP process, drives cross-functional alignment, and manages a dedicated demand planning team.

Description
Forecasting Strategy: develop and implement advanced demand forecasting approaches, integrating modern planning solutions (e.g., Kinaxis) to ensure optimal product availability and balanced inventory levels.
Forecast Management: deliver accurate short-, mid- and long-term forecasts based on historical data, market trends, consumer insights, and commercial plans working closely with Insights, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to align demand plans with business objectives and integrate market information.
Reporting: ensure high-quality, timely reporting and identify opportunities to simplify forecasting, reporting processes, and ways of working.
S&OP Leadership: lead key planning core governance meetings, ensure alignment across forecasts, commercial targets, risks, and opportunities. Prepare materials and dashboards, facilitate discussions, and ensure proper follow-up.
Stock Optimisation: support the definition of optimal inventory levels, reduce stockouts, and limit excess stock in collaboration with Operations teams.
Team Leadership: manage and develop the Forecasting & Planning team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture and building team capabilities.
Profile
- 7+ years' experience in demand planning or supply chain planning within FMCG, retail, consumer goods, or related industries.
- Proven experience in forecasting, project management, and implementation of planning systems (e.g., Kinaxis).
- Team Management experience mandatory
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in SAP, planning tools and BI systems; advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working in a matrix organisation and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; French or German is an asset.
- University degree in supply chain, business, finance, or a related field.
