We are looking for you: Underwriter & Specialist Property and Personal Insurance (m/f/d) 80–100%

Speculative Application:

On behalf of our client – an established Swiss insurer in the Zurich area – we are seeking a risk- and sales-oriented professional with solid expertise in assessing property and personal insurance risks.

Your main tasks

• Risk assessment, pricing and preparation of individual offers in the area of property and personal insurance (corporate and commercial)

• Professional evaluation of complex risks as well as determination of deductibles and special conditions

• Active support and advice for brokers, general agencies and corporate clients

• Portfolio monitoring, risk analyses and development of measures for remediation or profit enhancement

• Participation in product development and further development of internal acceptance guidelines

What you bring

• Commercial basic training in the insurance industry with appropriate further education (e.g. insurance specialist with federal certificate, advanced technical college or bachelor’s degree)

• Several years of experience in underwriting or specialist consulting for property and/or personal insurance

• Strong risk awareness, high numerical affinity and negotiation skills

• Fluent German; good knowledge of another national language (FR/IT) or English is an advantage

• Analytical thinking, decisiveness and strong customer orientation
