About the job
What you will achieve:
- Further development of the medium- and long-term strategy for the implementation of data protection and data security
- Responsibility for the creation, compliance and maintenance of the holistic data protection and data security concept
- Advising specialist departments on data protection law issues and assessing the data protection compliance of projects
- Compliance with and implementation of data protection legal requirements as well as integration of data protection into business processes including the necessary technical and organisational measures
- Revision/review of standard documents such as privacy policies, instructions and processing regulations
- Creation of or advice on data protection provisions in insurance and terms of use and contracts with service providers
- Preparation and analysis of data protection impact assessments
- Assessment of data processing requests and legal review and safeguarding of data transfers
Why you will succeed:
- In addition to a successfully completed law degree, a lawyer's licence is an advantage, you bring at least 3–5 years of professional experience in the field of data protection in a company or law firm, additional training in data protection is a plus
- You convince your contacts with your very good communication skills, your enjoyment of working in a team as well as with various specialist departments, your independent, efficient way of working and your enthusiasm for complex tasks
- Your excellent technical understanding and your strong affinity for working with modern information systems complete your profile
- You communicate fluently and confidently in German both orally and in writing; knowledge of French and English is a plus
