Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! The cantonal tax office collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities together with the municipal tax offices. We support individuals and businesses throughout the entire tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at our location in Zurich Altstetten.
In the area of business development & municipalities, we ensure that our IT services meet the high demands of a modern tax office. We work closely with other offices, especially with the Office for Informatics (AFI) – our IT service provider for ICT basic services. In this role, you will take on a key position in the interplay of business, IT, and governance – with a strong personal sense for our partners, a sense of responsibility, a strategic perspective, and proximity to operational processes.
Your tasks
- In the interest of the tax office, you are responsible for the aspects of cantonal ICT governance.
- You manage the needs of ICT basic services and lay the foundations for successful service delivery by the Office for Informatics (AFI) and other service partners.
- To this end, you agree on operating models, operational organizations, and service levels and monitor their compliance – with a focus on quality, availability, and conformity.
- You plan and control future service requirements, actively shape the service catalogs, and systematically introduce new requirements into the change process.
- You work closely with internal departments, other offices, and directorates and contribute to projects, procurements, and strategic initiatives.
Your profile
- You have a completed degree (University/FH) in computer science, business administration, management, or a comparable field.
- You bring several years of professional experience in the IT service or governance environment – ideally at least five years in a comparable field.
- In-depth knowledge of ITIL, ICT governance, IT basic services, and IT service processes distinguishes you. Knowledge of HERMES is an advantage.
- You know how to bring together different interests, mediate in a solution-oriented manner, and exert influence – both operationally and at a strategic level.
- A structured, independent, and proactive working style characterizes you, as well as a high sense of quality and responsibility and a good sense for your counterpart.
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, are required.
