This is what you can expect
- You are responsible for the strategic, financial (achieving revenue & DB) and operational responsibility for our range in the area of smartphones, tablets, and wearables
- This includes the responsibility for the product range as well as the planning/forecasting of order quantities and availability
- Experience in negotiating purchasing conditions with strategic suppliers as well as ensuring competitive and attractive pricing
- You constantly analyze the market (GfK), recognize trends, and strategically utilize market opportunities based on the economic strengths and weaknesses of your product range
- Professional consulting of key accounts on products and services within the responsible product ranges
- You negotiate contracts and conditions, e.g., at annual meetings with your partners
- Competence in developing and implementing smart decisions for various sales channels from direct sales to retail
- You plan marketing measures in collaboration with manufacturers and our category marketing manager
This is what you bring
- You preferably have a completed commercial training (or bachelor's or master's degree, ideally in business-related fields) and already have experience in product/category management
- Professional experience and enthusiasm in dealing with mobile products in the IT or lifestyle environment
- You are analytically strong, well-organized, and do not lose your sense of humor even in hectic situations
- Your environment knows and appreciates you as an ambitious team player who thinks outside the box
- You have demonstrably proven your negotiation skills, and your communication skills and confident demeanor help you
- Your German is fluent, and you need good English skills for communication with the manufacturer
- MS Office applications and a pivot table are not foreign to you
- A good sense for customer needs, and your enthusiasm for e-commerce are naturally present
- Experience in project work is an advantage
