About the job
To strengthen our Industrial Technologies department at our production site in Chavornay, we are looking for a:
AUTOMATION ENGINEER
ROLE:
- Troubleshoot production machines and various installations;
- Perform preventive maintenance according to the schedule;
- Modify or install new machines;
- Shift work 2x8 hours;
- Occasionally cover the night on-call service.
PROFILE:
- Federal VET Diploma as an automation engineer or electromechanical technician; holder of art. 15 OIBT (an advantage);
- 3-5 years of experience in industry, industrial maintenance or a similar position;
- Knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and other areas (PLC, ATEX) is considered a real asset;
- Versatility, strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities;
- Meticulous and precise, able to solve problems promptly, stress resistant;
- Proficient user of office software;
- Fluent French / technical level English, a plus.
