Your Tasks
You will coordinate the departmental Master’s programme Changing Societies. Your responsibilities include a variety of areas:- Planning and coordinating the programme’s course offerings and liaising with university bodies on a semester-by-semester basis.
- Processing admission applications and responding to enquiries from prospective students.
- Advising and supporting students in all study-related matters, including at the start and completion of their studies.
- Promoting exchange between students, lecturers, and the department’s academic divisions.
- Organising information and networking events for the programme.
- Creating and updating (online) informational materials and documents for the programme.
- Working closely with the department management and administration, and participating in committees and meetings.
Your Profile
We are looking for a committed and team-oriented individual – ideally with experience in university structures and administrative processes.- Master’s degree, preferably in social sciences.
- Confident use of common IT applications (M365; CMS knowledge is an advantage).
- Excellent German and English, both spoken and written.
- Strong service orientation, enjoyment of community building, and interest in the further development of the departmental Master’s programme Changing Societies.
- Advisory skills, especially in an international environment.
- High communication and social skills as well as confidential handling of sensitive topics.
- Independent, structured, and efficient working style with organisational talent.
