New programming cable for SEP, MP / EP
For new installations (from January 2016), the new programming cable is required.
Background:
With the introduction of Active Safety (AS) for mechanical
cylinders, adjustments were also made to the design of the mechatronic
cylinder.
These adjustments have a direct impact on the SEP, respectively MP / EP programming cable.
All locking systems delivered from January 2016 can only be operated with the new programming cable.
The new programming cable is compatible, i.e., also applicable for programming older locking systems.
Recommendation:
As a specialist partner, you should switch to the new programming cable immediately. Only with this will you maintain the flexibility to perform programming on new and older mechatronic locking systems anytime and anywhere.

Distinguishing features:
The new generation programming cable is equipped with a reversible key and is slightly shorter than the previous version.
In comparison, the old programming cable had no reversible key and a normal key length.
