Workshop Manager 80 - 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

Our client is looking for a workshop manager due to an upcoming retirement on 1.10.2026 or by arrangement. In this key position, you will take on the following areas of responsibility:

• Coordination and planning of assignments for workshop employees and service technicians

• Receipt and processing of repair orders

• Expert advice and technical support for our customers

• Leadership, promotion and professional support of your workshop team

• Preparation of cost estimates and workshop orders

• Active participation in the team during increased workload

What do I need to be successful?

Ideally, you bring the following:

• Completed vocational training in construction, agricultural, motor equipment or commercial vehicle mechanics

• Confident handling of IT systems and digital tools

• Strong organisational skills and high stress resistance

• Experience in staff management or the motivation to take on leadership responsibility

• Additional qualification as a workshop manager or diagnostic technician desirable

• Entrepreneurial thinking and cost awareness

• German as a native language, French skills are a plus

• Strong assertiveness combined with tact

• Team spirit and pronounced service understanding

• Strong communication skills in dealing with different interlocutors

• Independent, precise and structured way of working
