YOUR MISSION
- In your role, you act as a Finance Business Partner and actively challenge the Sales organization by questioning, analyzing, and developing targeted recommendations based on financial contexts.
- You are responsible for the entire forecasting and budgeting process in close coordination with the management of the Business Unit – particularly regarding revenue, margin, FTEs, and overhead costs – ensuring that financial planning is realistic, comprehensible, and strategically aligned.
- As part of operational controlling, you continuously analyze sales, margin, cost, and FTE developments, derive measures for the sales organization, and actively accompany their implementation.
- You further develop and manage the order book and order intake controlling, identify irregularities or trends, and define concrete next steps together with the sales team.
- The creation and coordination of specific reports for the Business Unit – such as Daily Sales Ticker, FTE evaluations, or reports on target achievement in PMP – is also part of your responsibilities, as is the appealing and comprehensible presentation of financial figures in management and sales meetings, country reviews, and other formats.
- You prioritize and solution-oriented handle ad-hoc requests in controlling, work closely with the Head of Accounting on the preparation of financial statements, and independently lead the monthly closing meetings with the managing directors and channel managers.
YOUR PROFILE
- You have completed a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or controlling – or have a comparable commercial training with a corresponding focus.
- You bring at least two years of experience in controlling, ideally in a manufacturing company and in an international environment, so you are familiar with complex organizational structures and cross-departmental processes.
- You have basic knowledge in accounting as well as in dealing with ERP systems, work proficiently with MS Office – especially Excel – and have experience using business intelligence tools that allow you to analyze data in a structured manner and present it understandably.
- You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You can interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. You can effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Fluent English and German skills are required. French is an advantage.
- You uphold the highest ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all financial matters.
