Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised sales assistant to join our team at our San Antonino branch in Switzerland. In this hybrid role, you will dedicate approximately 80% of your time to warehouse operations while maintaining sales responsibilities. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient warehouse management, stock accuracy, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and organising stock with precision and efficiency • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts to ensure data integrity • Fulfil customer orders accurately and promptly, ensuring proper packing and labelling • Use warehouse equipment safely and responsibly, including forklifts and pallet trucks • Assist customers with product inquiries and provide competent sales support
- Organise warehouse layout to optimise space utilisation and workflow efficiency • Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to management • Ensure compliance with warehouse safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment • Process returns and manage stock adjustments as necessary • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and customer service targets
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or stock management • Demonstrated experience in sales or customer service roles • Excellent organisational and time management skills • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping • Ability to regularly lift and carry items up to 22 kg • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar stock management software • Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one
- Knowledge of proper stock handling and rotation procedures • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment • Physical capability to perform warehouse tasks, including standing, bending, and climbing • Preferable: experience in order fulfilment and logistics operations
