VENIO was founded in 2018 as a center for vascular medicine with a day clinic. We now operate at two locations in Thun. Our focus areas are the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the arteries, veins, and lymphatic vessels. We run an interdisciplinary wound consultation and care for patients with obesity. The VENIO team consists of 3 physicians, 13 nursing professionals and assistants, 3 physiotherapists, as well as 2 compression specialists. A nutritionist is present part-time. Together, we care for patients from the entire Bernese Oberland as well as from the Thun agglomeration. Our established day clinic is modernly equipped and fully digitally managed.
Your profile
- You are aiming for the specialist title in Angiology and already have several years of clinical experience (preferably in the field of vascular medicine).
- Persons aiming for the title of General Internal Medicine and having an above-average interest in sonography are also welcome.
- The position is very suitable for holders of the FA Angiology title who enjoy working in a team and want to take the step towards practice activity.
- You have a cantonal professional practice license.
- Depending on your qualifications, you independently or under supervision conduct your own patient consultation hours.
- You have good sonography skills (preferably FA Sonography Module Vessels SGUM) or a strong interest in sonography and the desire to obtain the FA.
- You independently or under supervision perform duplex sonographies.
- You support us, with appropriate qualifications, in the interventional treatment of phlebological patients (sclerotherapies, laser therapies, ETA, phlebectomies) or have the opportunity to learn these.
- You independently handle administrative tasks according to guidelines.
- You are resilient, committed, reliable, and solution-oriented.
- You have a friendly, patient-oriented, and positive attitude.
- You master the German language in spoken and written form (Level B2).
- With special interest and suitability, there is the possibility to perform or learn arterial interventions in exchange at another B-clinic in the canton of Bern.
