Project Manager for Agricultural Construction and Housing Promotion

The Office for Agriculture and Geoinformation is a department of the Department of Economic Affairs and Social Affairs. It includes the four divisions of Agricultural Measures, Structural Improvements, Surveying, and the GIS Competence Center.
The Structural Improvements division makes a significant contribution to the sustainable development of rural areas. Its diverse range of tasks includes not only agricultural construction and housing promotion but also civil engineering measures and projects for regional development (PRE). The construction department is responsible for the renewal and new construction of barn buildings. In addition, it supports alpine renovations, processing companies, and the renovation and new construction of residential buildings in mountainous areas.

For the construction department in the Structural Improvements division, we are looking for from November 1, 2025, or by agreement a Project Manager for Agricultural Construction and Housing Promotion.
- Technical, administrative, and financial oversight of construction projects
- Review of projects and processing of funding applications
- Support for clients and planning offices in technical and financial matters
- Review of funding applications within the framework of the new cantonal housing promotion
- Participation in working groups and meetings at the cantonal and regional level for the further development of funding instruments
- University or university of applied sciences degree in architecture, agronomy, or a comparable field
- Strong communication skills and confident demeanor
- Structured, process-oriented, and conceptual working style
- Service-oriented and solution-oriented personality, team player, commitment, and initiative
- Fluent German skills in spoken and written form; knowledge of other cantonal languages is an advantage
