The Broker Business Directorate in Zurich-Oerlikon is responsible as a market development unit of Mobiliar for the cooperative collaboration with professional brokers. In our Personal Insurance Market Development department, we are looking for a specialised and experienced individual in the field of personal insurance.

What You Will Achieve With Us

As a Senior Underwriter, you independently assess risks within your competencies in the sectors of compulsory accident insurance, accident supplementary insurance, as well as collective daily sickness allowance insurance, and are responsible for the flawless preparation of offers and policies.

Furthermore, you develop solution concepts and are responsible for the impeccable administrative processing of business transactions. Through your high service quality and commitment, you make a direct contribution to the company’s success in dealings with brokers.

This demanding and exciting role also includes, after 1 - 2 years, the opportunity to develop into taking over sector responsibility for personal insurance within the German-speaking Swiss broker market. As a sector manager, you are responsible for the development and maintenance of the personal insurance portfolio, work closely with product management, and professionally support the underwriters in the personal insurance area.

What You Bring

• Insurance apprenticeship with further training at specialist certificate/insurance diploma level or Bachelor in Business Administration with a focus on Risk & Insurance
• Several years of experience and sound knowledge in the personal insurance sector
• Team-oriented, proactive and communicative personality who convinces through negotiation skills and assertiveness
• Independent and dynamic working style with a strong customer orientation, high personal responsibility and motivation in personal dealings with our brokers
• Native German speaker, knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
