GenMon calculates the risk status of a breed. The index consists of 5 sub-indices. The lower the Global Index, the more endangered a breed is. The Global Index is composed of information on introgression, geographical distribution, a "Breed-Agricultural Sustainability Index" and a Pedigree Index.
