Scientific Internship 2026 at the Bündner Natural History Museum Chur
Office for Culture | Bündner Natural History Museum | 60-100% | Bündner Natural History Museum Chur
We are looking for an intern for the Bündner Natural History Museum in the Office for Culture starting February 1, 2026, or by arrangement, 60 – 100%
Your area of responsibility
- Assistance with various collection tasks (e.g., labeling and packaging objects, inventory, electronic recording)
- Writing articles about exhibition objects and thematic posters
- Assistance with exhibition work, including designing thematic display cases and writing texts and labels
- Research work on subject-specific topics
- Herbarium work: e.g., processing herbarium specimens including their preparation and reorganization
- Assistance in the information service for visitors
- Assistance with monitoring the breeding business of swifts using a nest camera
- Assistance with guided tours for school classes of all levels
What we expect from you
- Degree in a scientific field BSc / MSc (university, university of applied sciences)
- Reliable and independent working style following instructions
- Teamwork skills
- Good written expression in German
- Knowledge of another cantonal official language (Italian or Romansh) is welcome
