Clerk Reception/Administration 60 - 70%Good for life – that is our motto. As part of the Education Directorate of the Canton of Zurich, the Office for Youth and Career Counselling is responsible for services in the area of child and youth welfare as well as career counselling. Children, young people and families are at the centre of our work.
The Central Support Office operates at the heart of the Office for Youth and Career Counselling. It provides administrative support to the office management and interdisciplinary staff departments. It also ensures smooth operations within the building. It is the point of contact for security, art, IT coordination, reception, telephone switchboard, housekeeping, caretaking and the operation of the in-house cafeteria.
We are looking for a committed and friendly person with experience in reception, telephone service and administration from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement. Career changers are also welcome.
Your tasks
- Welcoming guests
- Managing the telephone switchboard
- Handling mail and deliveries
- Administrative support for the staff departments
- Assisting with events
Your profile
- Commercial training or several years of professional experience in the commercial field
- Friendly demeanour and independent working style
- Good communication skills in written and spoken German and assertiveness
- Interest in the concerns of our office
