Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
Our UNIL-CHUV Oncology Department brings together cancer clinic and research with an innovative spirit. It includes the medical oncology, radiotherapy, haematology services with the CHUV bone marrow transplant activity, and the experimental therapies centre. It also incorporates the Lausanne branch of the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research (LICR) for cancer research, particularly in immunotherapy.
The Radiotherapy Department (RTH) stands out for a resolutely multidisciplinary approach, ensuring each patient receives comprehensive, personalised, and humane care. Driven by a dynamic of harmonious collaboration among professionals, it offers a stimulating work environment where team spirit, open-mindedness, and adaptability are essential to thrive in a constantly evolving setting.
