Tasks
- Triage and assessment of IT security incidents
- Active participation in the operation and maintenance of the SOC IT infrastructure
- Processing and further development of the central LOG platform and the SIEM, Detection Engineering
- DevOps tasks within the SOC IT infrastructure (Ansible, Gitlab)
- Monitoring the infrastructure regarding security incidents
- Analysis, detection, and remediation of cyberattacks and technical vulnerabilities
- Continuous development of processes and technical measures to improve cyber defence
- Maintaining a high level of protection (Hardening/CIS Benchmark/NIST)
- Project collaboration and consulting on security matters
Profile
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Cybersecurity (FH/University/ETH or HF) or equivalent education
- Several years of practical experience in a technical environment
- Further training and experience in IT security (e.g. SIEM, SOAR or Python/Rest) advantageous
- IT knowledge in SIEM/Log Management, Detection as Code (Git/CI-CD), EDR, SOAR, Python/REST present
- Fluent German in spoken and written form, good English skills
- Independent, careful, disciplined, and precise working style
- High resilience in exceptional situations
- Driving licence category B available
- Willingness for on-call duty
- Impeccable reputation
