Construction Machinery Locksmith Langenthal
(100%)
Steel is exactly your element and the bigger the construction machine, the wider your grin?
When others are puzzled by tricky repairs, heavily welded seams or complex constructions, you really get stuck in?
Then you are exactly right with us! Our motto is: "Geit nid gits nid" – we get heavyweights fit for action again.
Your mission
- You weld, repair, straighten and reinforce components, buckets, booms and attachments for our yellow giants – mainly in our workshop in Langenthal. For a bit of variety, there are occasional assignments directly at the customer’s site (on the construction site or in the customer’s workshop)
- As a true quality guarantor, you value your craft and ensure that undercarriages, booms and tools of our Caterpillar fleet shine again in the best light
- When things get stuck or urgent, you listen carefully, look for the root of the problem and deliver a solid solution that makes the customer smile again
- You keep safety and the wise use of our resources in mind with every spark
- You share your experience within the workshop team, ask questions when you don’t know, and enjoy learning from your colleagues just as much
Your background
- You have completed basic training as a locksmith, metalworker, plant and apparatus builder, agricultural or construction machinery mechanic and bring practical experience
- No one can beat you quickly at MIG/MAG or TIG welding – and you have respect, but no fear, for the sheer size of our Caterpillar machines
- If you have already worked with CNC or CAD: brilliant! If not: no problem, you bring curiosity and we will show you how it works
- You appreciate an honest word among colleagues and meet your team on equal terms
- For occasional trips to customers, you have a category B driving licence in your pocket
Your benefits
- You work with the top class of the construction machinery industry in a well-equipped locksmith’s workshop where no expense is spared on tools
- A genuine doer culture without tedious bureaucracy: short paths, clear decisions and plenty of scope for your own craft
- A fair employment package with 13 monthly salaries, a 40-hour week, at least 25 days’ holiday and real opportunities for further training
- We work with passion and celebrate just as much – whether at team events or spontaneous pats on the back in the company
- Attractive employee discounts and the security of a traditional Swiss family business
