The city of Thun offers comprehensive day schools and ensures care services for all kindergarten and school children before and after classes. The day schools are organized as part of the Thun public school.
Starting August 1, 2026, we will offer in the Lerchenfeld and Schönau/Martinpark day schools a
Your tasks:
- Planning and conducting leisure activities, events, and projects
- Supervising the children present, including individual support
- Co-designing the day school rooms
- Preparing snacks and taking on kitchen and cleaning tasks
- Assisting with administrative tasks and participating in team meetings
You bring:
- Joy in dealing with people and a high sense of responsibility
- Strong empathy, patience, and respect
- Basic PC knowledge and confident communication in writing and speech (including text comprehension)
- Good observational skills, quick reaction ability, and the ability to set boundaries
- Good teamwork, conflict, and communication skills as well as psychological stability
- Organizational skills, flexibility, and a sense of cleanliness and order
