VENIO was founded in 2018 as a center for vascular medicine with a day clinic. We now operate at two locations in Thun. Our focus areas are the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the arteries, veins, and lymphatic vessels. We run an interdisciplinary wound consultation and care for patients with obesity. The VENIO team consists of 3 doctors, 13 nursing professionals and assistants, 3 physiotherapists, as well as 2 compression specialists. A nutrition consultant is present part-time. Together, we care for patients from the entire Bernese Oberland region as well as from the Thun agglomeration. Our established day clinic is modernly equipped and fully digitally managed.
Your area of responsibility
- You independently care for patients in the wound management consultation.
- You work closely in the wound and laser team with another wound manager as well as the angiological doctors and the vascular surgeon.
- You coordinate the co-care of patients by external colleagues (e.g., Spitex).
- You are responsible for the provision, preparation, control, and technical handling of medical devices, equipment, and materials needed in the wound consultation.
- You independently document in digital form.
- At the beginning of your employment, you will lead the projects "Digital Data Exchange" and "Simplified Wound Documentation" in collaboration with Ms. Gerber (WEX) and Dr. Friedli.
Your profile
- Completed training as a certified nurse HF or medical practice assistant (MPA) plus qualification as a wound expert / wound manager
- Persons with above-average motivation and possibly already started further training as a wound expert / wound manager are also welcome
- Professional experience – preferably in a larger general practitioner or specialist practice or hospital
- You are resilient, committed, reliable, solution-oriented, and enjoy working in a team
- You have a friendly, patient-oriented, and positive attitude
- You are familiar with handling an electronic patient record
