You will take on a key role in the global procurement organization of Twinings Ovaltine and shape the strategic direction of our Indirect Services category across multiple markets. You will drive strategic sourcing initiatives, further develop supplier partnerships, and ensure sustainable added value for our business. You can expect a dynamic FMCG environment where cross-functional collaboration, international interfaces, and continuous improvement are part of everyday life.
You report directly to the Senior Category Lead – Indirect Services at Twinings Ovaltine and work functionally (dotted line) with the Procurement Team Lead Switzerland at Wander AG.
Category Lead – Indirects (m/f/d) 100%
- Strategic responsibility: You develop central category strategies and lead the indirect procurement spend categories at the Wander site, e.g., Professional Services, HR, IT, Utilities, Marketing, Facilities, and MRO.
- KPIs: You are responsible for optimizing value creation through total cost savings, innovation, sustainability, and risk management.
- Processes & tools: You ensure that projects are implemented according to the global P2P process and use relevant e-sourcing tools to optimize the value contribution of tenders and auctions. You also ensure that optimal purchasing channels are established for the Ariba Guided Buying platform.
- Supplier Relationship Management: You ensure appropriate relationships with critical suppliers and ensure that all suppliers are regularly reviewed according to the site’s requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: You act as a business partner for key stakeholders within the Wander BU and work closely with the Twinings Ovaltine Global Procurement Team. You communicate with external partners, represent the company in relevant associations and initiatives, and actively contribute there.
- Procurement expertise: You bring 3–5 years of professional experience in indirect procurement – ideally in the food industry or a manufacturing environment.
- Collaboration skills: You have experience in matrix organizations as well as in project or team management.
- Language skills: You have business fluent German and English skills.
- Persuasiveness: You are a communicative, inspiring personality and can win colleagues as well as the senior leadership team for your topics.
- Analytical strength: You think analytically and pragmatically, keep the big picture in mind, and derive concrete measures from it.
