The IT department is divided into various areas. Students and employees expect IT systems that meet high standards. This environment provides new challenges every day. The IT apprenticeship begins together with apprentices from other companies with the basic training year at ZbW (www.zbw.ch, Basic Training Year ICT).

Your tasks
- Collaboration in a Kanban team
- Development of new applications (frontend, middleware, database)
- Maintenance of existing applications (frontend, middleware, database)
- Analysing problems and customer requirements
- Testing applications (manual/automated testing, UI, integration and unit tests, test documentation)
- Design regarding component creation and their interface definition
- Specifying and implementing interfaces
- Creating and updating documentation (tests, applications, user manuals)
- Use of various new software technologies
- Modern IT environment

- Secondary school with good performance in scientific, mathematical and language subjects
- Enjoy solving complex tasks and working on the computer
- Quick comprehension and logical abstract thinking ability
- Strong concentration skills, patience and perseverance
