We build the strong rail. DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH is the full-service provider for railway infrastructure. This means we plan and construct all railway infrastructure facilities and maintain them. With our trades in track construction, technical systems, structural civil engineering, coordination of major projects, and qualification in railway construction, we operate at over 40 locations throughout Germany. Your tasks:
- You organise and independently carry out construction work in the field of civil engineering according to technical and economic principles
- In addition, you take on the technical leadership of the construction crews, work alongside them if necessary, and supervise our subcontractors
- You ensure the proper use of tools and equipment
- You monitor compliance with valid regulations, guidelines, and other company rules
- Finally, you are responsible for the site reports and the preparation of site billing
Your profile:
- You have completed vocational training in construction or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
- You bring expertise in civil, civil engineering, and/or structural engineering as well as knowledge of VOB/B
- You have good knowledge of MS Office, construction scheduling, tender processing, and construction billing
- Responsibility and teamwork are natural for you
- Finally, you are willing to undertake assembly work (mainly in the Baden-Württemberg area) and hold a category B driving licence
