Your tasks
- You lead and develop a department with around 20 employees professionally, organisationally and personally.
- You are responsible for the strategic planning and management of development projects in the field of interlockings and RBC with a focus on platform architectures, modern development environments, automation and scalability.
- You ensure the successful implementation of complex projects in terms of quality, costs and deadlines.
- You actively develop the technological roadmap further and set impulses for innovative and pioneering solutions.
- You promote the continuous development of development processes and drive efficiency improvements as well as standardisations.
- You work closely with development, product management and other specialist departments to utilise synergies and integrate new market requirements early into product development.
- You ensure compliance with the high requirements of a safety-critical development environment.
Your profile
- Completed technical university degree (Master) in electronics, software engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field.
- Business management training or sound understanding of business contexts.
- Several years of leadership experience in managing development or project teams, ideally in the environment of complex technical systems or safety-critical applications and at department head level.
- Experience in the development of platforms, system architectures or integrated technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of modern development processes, automation and scalable software and system landscapes.
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
