Job Description

OUR MARKET AMBITION: AI IT MODERNISATION

Artificial Intelligence is redefining the paradigms of software development and information system management. At Talan Switzerland, our ambition is clear: AI catalyses IT modernisation; Talan industrialises it, secures it, and guarantees its quality.

• Security & Pragmatism (Data Classification): we adapt the execution infrastructure to the required confidentiality level, from secure public cloud (Levels 1 & 2) to Swiss sovereign cloud (Level 3), up to On-Premise / Air-Gapped execution (Level 4) for critical industrial secrets.

YOUR MISSIONS: AT THE HEART OF THE AGENTIC REVOLUTION

To support our growth and industrialise our offerings, we are looking for an intern passionate about applied AI to join our team in Geneva or Lausanne. Under the responsibility of our Business Line directors and AI architecture experts, you will contribute to structuring agentic methods and assets to equip our internal processes and enhance our client offerings.

Your missions will revolve around four strategic axes:

1. Structuring agentic assets for our client offerings Development and industrialisation of our AI-accelerated transformation solutions:

• Enhancing our legacy refactoring offerings: contributing to the modernisation of the application core (e.g., Java and .NET version upgrades, refactoring opaque legacy code) by leveraging Spec-Driven Development and autonomous agent frameworks.
• Data platform migration (Data & BI): participating in automating the migration of data pipelines, decision reports, and complex SQL schemas to modern platforms (Databricks, Snowflake), notably by exploiting and enriching our proprietary accelerator Talan Reportimus.

2. Equipping our pre-sales process Designing intelligent tools for the performance and responsiveness of our sales and pre-sales teams:

• Developing agentic assistants for rapid and automated analysis of client specifications (RFP/RFI) and detection of key requirements.
• Creating tools to assist in drafting commercial proposals (generating quality content, structuring tailored offers, highlighting our references and expertise).

3. Enhancing our internal operations Experimenting with innovative solutions to transform the daily work of our employees:

• Deploying and testing agentic workflows (such as our internal TA³SK framework) to equip our consultants and engineers daily (reports, project plans, technical documentation).
• Measuring the impact of these tools on velocity, deliverable quality, and work-life balance of our teams.

4. Technological watch and dissemination of AI culture

• Establishing active monitoring of the state of the art in AI, Context Engineering, and agent protocols (e.g., Model Context Protocol – MCP).
• Leading awareness and training workshops to familiarise our local teams with the use of these tools and accelerators.

Qualifications

Education:

• You are in your final year (5th year / Master’s) at an engineering school or university specialising in AI / computer science (such as EPFL, ETH Zurich, Swiss universities of applied sciences or equivalent) and are seeking a final year internship (PFE) with a formal agreement.

Preferred technical skills:

• Solid foundations in software development (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, etc.).
• Strong curiosity for AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, and agent frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, MCP, etc.).
• Sensitivity to security, data confidentiality, and sovereignty issues.

Personal qualities:

• Autonomy & proactivity: ability to propose innovative solutions and conduct experiments.
• Rigor & analytical mindset: ability to structure complex approaches and formalise feedback (REX).
• Collaborative spirit: strong taste for multidisciplinary teamwork and knowledge sharing.
• Communication: excellent written and oral skills in French; a very good level of technical English is required.
