What you can contribute to:
- Management and processing of alarms (fire, intrusion, assault, technical)
- Deployment of intervention agents or official emergency services
- Responsibility for deployments outside operating hours
- Ensure handling of shift starts and ends, security calls, etc.
- Ensure monitoring of sensitive vehicles by geolocation
- Handling customer calls outside the management's opening hours
- Management of administrative tasks related to the control centre's activity
- Handling emergencies in relation to driving
- Assess and prioritise actions to be taken in managing particular situations
- Handling remote openings of client sites
- Management of video surveillance and access control of external buildings
- Control rounds by video surveillance
- Management of remote activation/deactivation of alarm systems
- Emergency staff scheduling
- Make operational decisions for the Geneva management
- Hours: 4x12 (4 working days from 6am to 6pm followed by 4 days off x2 shifts, then 4 night shifts from 6pm to 6am, followed by 4 nights off x2 shifts)
- Patrols/rounds/intervention duties at 25-30% during CE Operator training
- Gradual reduction of patrols/rounds/intervention activity in favour of CE duties
What you bring:
- Good character with no criminal record
- Swiss nationality, C permit, B permit with authorised gainful employment (for more than 2 years if third-country national) or EU/EFTA national
- Category B driving licence mandatory for use of service vehicles
- Fluent spoken and written French and spoken English at least B2 level
- Proficiency with IT tools and common communication means (telephone, radio, e-mail, fax, etc.)
- Good writing skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a confined space (Alarm and engagement control centre)
- Experience as an alarm/engagement control operator or similar activity is an asset
- Experience in security lodge and/or patrol and intervention of at least 6 months is another asset
- Good knowledge of Geneva topography is an additional asset
- Emotional resilience and ability to handle difficult situations while maintaining performance
- Ability to manage priorities under exceptional conditions with tight deadlines and sustained flow
- Comfortable in a technical environment and with the telephone, good interpersonal and customer skills
