Junior Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d | 100%)
Exciting, challenging, and varied - your tasks
- Design and development of construction solutions for our bending machines including sheet metal handling
- Kinematics and strength calculations (FEM) for the high demands in the field of heavy machinery construction
- Planning and implementation of customer-specific bending machine solutions (up to 190,000 kN pressing force) according to technical and economic aspects
- Close cooperation with the specialist departments of project management, electrical planning, automation technology, work preparation, production, and commissioning
- Technical conceptual consulting during the sales phase
- Participation in product improvements and development projects
Passionate about engineering - your profile
- Completed education with a Master/Bachelor (UNI, ETH, FH) degree in mechanical engineering
- Basic craftsmanship training in the metalworking industry is desirable
- Industrial experience in design/development is desirable
- Enjoy working with CAD (Creo) and modern calculation tools (e.g., Ansys, MatLab)
- Interest in learning the trade of sheet metal bending and developing customer solutions for it
- Understanding of mechanics, kinematics, and willingness to deepen this knowledge
- Motivation to plan, conduct, and evaluate tests
- Interest in forming technology (our machines bend sheets up to 300 mm thick)
- Fluent German and good English skills
