The innovative institution «Zytlos» of the Reformed Church community of Zurich is aimed at a broad circle of people and allows for a different experience of church. The «Kafi Zytlos» is the heart of this institution and includes a catering operation with an open and warm welcoming culture. Acceptance of social diversity and mutual respect are high priorities. The social diakonie team offers various services in different areas alongside gastrodiakonie, including the worship format „Uszyt“ as well as programs on mindfulness, art, and much more. Your tasks
- Conducting diaconal and pastoral conversations
- Professional support for the members of the gastrodiakonie team
- Further development of formats and their implementation
- Community building and networking
- Host at Kafi Zytlos on Fridays and Wednesday mornings
- Conveying diaconal competencies to service staff
Your profile
- Degree in social diakonie, psychology, or coaching
- Solid diaconal understanding and practical experience in a church-diaconal context
- Theological basic understanding and experience in conversation management and pastoral care
- Empathetic, trustworthy personality with joy in the host role
- Preferably a member of a national church
