How you inspire
- You have gained several years of leadership experience in the same or similar positions and your profound knowledge in credit business (private and corporate clients) as well as, if possible, in recovery, distinguishes you
- You have diverse experience in handling demanding business cases and know what it takes to work successfully with a wide range of stakeholders
- You have successfully completed an academic or higher vocational training in business administration and have also furthered your education specifically in banking
- Your strong analytical and conceptual skills allow you to analyse complex problems and develop viable solutions, implementing them quickly and effectively
- You possess strong communication skills as well as the assertiveness and resilience necessary for this position and its associated tasks
What you bring
- Together with your team, you are responsible for the operational handling of the recovery and debt collection business of the Bern Cantonal Bank. You also take responsibility for developing demanding strategies in recovery and manage your own customer portfolio in German and French
- You lead the Recovery and Debt Collection team of 9 employees both in terms of personnel and expertise. Employee and team development is particularly important to you to ensure sustainable joint success. Furthermore, you continuously review the processes in recovery and debt collection and initiate necessary changes
- You support the specialists in the Recovery and Debt Collection team as well as the financial coaches in sales in demanding and high-risk business relationships. You actively influence customers with an increased risk profile yourself
- You assess the default risk and are responsible for the value adjustment process, implement measures for early detection of risk positions, and independently approve transactions or submit applications to higher authorities
- Your active participation in projects and process optimisations complements your diverse range of tasks
