What is my role?

• Procurement of materials, products and services ensuring timely availability

• Negotiation of prices and terms with suppliers

• Analysis of markets and suppliers

• Development and implementation of purchasing strategies

• Continuous optimisation of procurement processes

• Close collaboration with various departments for requirements determination and solution finding

• Maintenance of long-term supplier relationships

• Regular evaluation of supplier performance

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed commercial/technical training with further education in purchasing

• Several years of professional experience in operational and strategic purchasing

• Negotiation skills and assertiveness

• Analytical thinking and a structured way of working

• Confident handling of ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team

• Cost awareness and entrepreneurial thinking
