For the succession in the role of Head of Nursing & Care, we are looking for an experienced leader. In this role, you are a member of the executive board, work closely with the co-CEOs, and bear overall responsibility for the nursing and care department at our four locations with around 130 employees.
You take over the operational management of the nursing & care area, are the contact person for the site managers, ensure high-quality nursing and care, and lead the organization with a clear focus on quality, efficiency, and sustainable development. This also includes the "Competence Center Psychiatry".
Your tasks
Operational responsibility
- Overall responsibility for the offerings and services in the nursing and care area, optimization and further development of specialist departments
- Ensuring high-quality, professional, and needs-oriented nursing and care with ongoing evaluation of deployments
- Further development, implementation, and optimization of concepts, standards, and processes
- Responsibility for quality assurance, hygiene, occupational safety as well as health and protection concepts
- Ensuring a uniform, professional, and customer-oriented appearance
- Initiation, management, and support of new offerings and projects
- Responsibility for productivity and ensuring target achievement in the area of responsibility
- Professional integration and further development of the Competence Center Psychiatry
- Regular exchange and close cooperation within the executive board
- Collaboration with external partners such as Palliaviva, SRK, Hospital @ Home, etc.
Leadership and development of employees
- Professional and personal leadership, support, and promotion of subordinate employees
- Building and further developing a constructive, appreciative, and performance-promoting work environment as well as an effective leadership culture
- Ensuring transparent and regular information exchange
- Conducting site, development, qualification, and conflict discussions
- Responsibility for recruitment, personnel development, as well as training and continuing education offers
- Close cooperation with education managers as well as nursing quality and development specialists
Networking and representation
- Close cooperation with relatives, doctors, hospitals, nursing homes, and other specialist offices
- Organization and participation in information events and public occasions on behalf of the executive board
- Active professional networking in our region and beyond
Requirements profile
- Completed training as a nursing specialist HF/FH
- Several years of professional experience in nursing, ideally in Spitex
- Experience in a comparable leadership position
- Additional management and business administration training
- Strong social and communication skills as well as a professional, customer-oriented appearance
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and confidence in dealing with various stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial thinking, organizational strength, as well as independent, efficient, and cost-conscious working style
- Ability for self-leadership, high initiative, and sense of responsibility
- Physical and mental resilience
- Very good IT user skills
- Driver's license category B
