As a team leader in the field of electronic interlockings Simis IS, you will take on the technical and personnel leadership of a dedicated engineering team. With your positive manner, you create orientation, strengthen cohesion, and motivate your team to achieve demanding goals together. At the same time, you contribute your technical know-how to exciting railway projects and ensure the successful implementation of our interlocking solutions with interdisciplinary teams.
Your new area of responsibility
- You lead and develop the engineering team in the field of signalling systems Simis IS and promote an open, trusting, and high-performance team culture.
- You provide orientation, motivate your team even in challenging situations, and support the professional and personal development of your employees.
- You are responsible for engineering processes, drive their continuous improvement, and strengthen quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- As a sub-project leader for interlockings, you take responsibility for costs, deadlines, and technical objectives.
- You work closely with international engineering teams as well as with product management, sales, and other specialist departments and support the preparation of technical offers.
Your profile
- Technical education at HF/FH level or equivalent, ideally in electrical engineering, transport systems, or a related field.
- Initial experience in leadership, development, or technical management of employees and the ability to inspire, engage, and promote people.
- Experience in technical project environments as well as a structured, solution-oriented working style.
- Networked thinking, high personal responsibility, and enjoyment in collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluent German and English skills.
- Experience in railway signalling technology or interlocking environment is a plus.
