Kantonsschule am Brühl St.Gallen – The practice-oriented cantonal school

The Kantonsschule am Brühl St.Gallen, with its approximately 600 students and 70 teachers, offers practice-oriented courses in five vocational fields (FMS), the computer science middle school (IMS) and the business middle school (WMS).

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a teacher from 1 August 2026

A teacher for the subjects of Business and Law as well as HKB B, C and D

Workload: 50 - 60%

Workplace: City of St.Gallen

What to expect

• You will teach the subjects of Business and Law as well as in the area of action competence (HKB B, C and D, without foreign languages).
• Teaching takes place on the following days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
• You contribute your ideas to the further development of the school and the subject group.
• You take on additional tasks in the area of professional duties, e.g. project work and learning coaching.
• You participate in special weeks and school events.

What distinguishes you

• You are a competent, committed and team-oriented teacher.
• You are interested in cooperative methods, a variety of methods and team teaching.
• You already have teaching experience at secondary level II.
• You bring private sector spirit and practical relevance.
• You hold a university master’s degree in the subject area.
• You have a teaching diploma for middle schools as well as an additional professional pedagogical qualification, or are willing to acquire one.
