Apprenticeship as a Medical Practice Assistant EFZ

MEDVADIS AG offers a comprehensive range of medical basic care for the population in the Limmattal region at 5 locations (Dietikon Limmat Tower, Schlieren, Urdorf, Birmensdorf, Engstringen). For our location in Urdorf, we are offering an MPA apprenticeship in 2026.

Content of the 3-year vocational training:

• Reception and telephone management
• Administrative tasks
• Daily work with electronic medical records (Triamed)
• Laboratory analyses, blood draws, injections, and infusions
• X-ray / EKG / lung function tests
• Self-dispensing pharmacy, among others ROWA
• Assistance with minor procedures
• Sterilization of instruments

• You are attending secondary school A
• Commute door-to-door max. 1 hour
• You have already completed at least one internship as an MPA
• You are interested in medicine and can handle the physical and mental demands of a diverse and varied environment.
• You possess empathy, strong communication, and teamwork skills
• You have a quick grasp, the talent to think in networks, and recognize connections. You enjoy independent and responsible work.
• You have very good oral and written German skills, as well as another language (English, Italian, or French).
• You have good PC user skills and master the 10-finger system.
