Job Description
The shunting service employee (ZSTEBV) is responsible for the safe, punctual, economical and customer-oriented provision of shunting services according to the order given and for the correct application of operational processes (FDV). At the Limmattal shunting yard, you will move around the track area to stationary as well as rollingfreight wagons. This often generates noise or various freight wagons collide with each other. Therefore, you should not be a jumpy person.
We expect
- Due to your safety awareness, it is natural for you to work according to regulations
- For this demanding work, you are physically fit and enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ideally, you have completed basic training or already have professional experience in the craft, logistics or a comparable field
- You enjoy working with various tools such as radio and tablet
- You have good spoken German skills (at least level B1)
- You have perfect colour vision (no red/green colour blindness)
