Field of Responsibilities
During your apprenticeship, you work in one of the seven districts of the Lower Construction Office of Graubünden.
As an automotive mechatronics technician, you perform system and function checks as well as simple diagnostic tasks on passenger and commercial vehicles. You repair engines, drivetrains, chassis, and electronics. You independently handle service and inspection work. You test fuel injection systems using special devices, adjust systems, measure brakes, and check electronic chassis components, e.g., brake assistants. In the area of fault detection and repair, you diagnose and locate faults, eliminate causes, inspect driver assistance systems, infotainment systems, hybrid systems, and electric drive systems, and replace defective components.
