Deputy Front Office Manager
Feel-good time on the shores of Lake Hallwil! In our extraordinary and family-run resort with 91 rooms in three different themed worlds and luxurious suites, we are looking for an experienced, empathetic, and solution-oriented personality as Deputy Head of Reservations & Reception starting April 1, 2026 or by arrangement. In this key role, you will shape first-class guest services together with a dedicated team of around 10 employees including two apprentices.
This is what you provide
- Active sales of room categories, packages, vouchers, and additional services with a view to the entire house
- Co-responsibility for sales-oriented consulting to optimize the occupancy of all areas of the resort
- Ensuring smooth and efficient operations in daily business
- Care of our hotel guests throughout their entire stay
- Control and quality assurance of guest correspondence and arrival preparations
- Handling voucher management, support in accounts receivable management as well as in
- daily closings
- Monitoring quality standards and actively promoting quality awareness within the team
- Professional complaint handling with a solution-oriented approach
- Creation of deployment and work schedules including vacation planning
- Deputizing for the Head of Reservations & Reception during their absence
This is what you fulfill
- Enjoyment in actively selling additional services, packages, and upgrades as well as a pronounced service and host mentality
- Completed vocational training, ideally supplemented by further education in hospitality
- Experience in revenue management or solid understanding of pricing, revenue, and occupancy control is an advantage
- Leadership experience is a plus but not a must; equally welcome are personalities with eagerness to learn, initiative, and drive who want to take the next career step
- Enjoy working with young apprentices and motivation to actively shape their development
- Trainer course already completed or willingness to complete it
- Very good MS Office skills; experience with PMS MEWS is an advantage
- Flexibility regarding weekend shifts and irregular working hours
- Overview, composure, and humor – even when things get hectic
- Networked thinking and entrepreneurial understanding – you keep the big picture in mind and think in solutions for the entire house
- Very good German and English skills, French skills are an advantage
