Supply Chain and Change Specialist 80 – 100 % (m/f/d)

Hamilton Storage develops, produces, and distributes robots for storing up to ten million chemical substances for pharmaceutical companies. In addition, we produce robots for storing biological samples at -80 degrees Celsius, which are used in biobanks for clinical research purposes.
What you can achieve:
- Responsibility for the entire procurement process within the assigned purchasing area
- Function as an interface between internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Maintenance and management of relationships with existing suppliers
- Conducting negotiations on price, quality, and logistical aspects
- Active and proactive management of batch sizes and safety stocks
- Ensuring compliance with delivery dates and communicating deviations from planned requirements to the responsible departments
- Processing quality reports and follow-up actions
- Maintaining system parameters in the ERP system
- Responsibility for supplier evaluation
- Handling supplier complaints and follow-up measures
- Ensuring that information on LLE, HS codes, country of origin (CoO), REACH, and RoHS is up to date for all suppliers
- Support in master data and change management processes
What you bring with you:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or master data management
- Experience in manufacturing or logistics (optional depending on position)
- Experience in operational and/or strategic procurement processes
- Solid knowledge in procurement, supplier evaluation, and contract management
- Ability to negotiate prices, terms, and service agreements
- Familiarity with demand planning, order creation, and tracking
- Ability to monitor supplier performance (OTD, quality, costs) and implement corrective actions
- Understanding of supply chain workflows and inventory management principles
- Very good knowledge of German and English
