The gibb Vocational School Bern is a cantonal vocational school of the Canton of Bern.
We teach around 7,000 young people in more than 60 professions, of which around 1,000 attend the vocational baccalaureate school and around 1,000 working professionals attend part-time higher vocational education.

Tasks
- Supports the head of department in fulfilling their leadership duties.
- Acts as deputy to ensure the school operations of the department in the absence of the head of department.
Requirements
- Teaching qualification at secondary level II: Teacher with vocational baccalaureate additional qualification.
- Willingness to complete specific further training appropriate to the areas of responsibility.
- Teaching experience in vocational education.
- Organisational skills and administrative abilities.
- Communication skills, assertiveness, initiative, holistic thinking, resilience and flexibility.
- Openness to collaboration within the school management team and the teaching staff team.
- Willingness to take up one’s own teaching duties at gibb BMS in the foreseeable future and with available workload.
