What you will learn with us
As a Geomatician specialising in "Geoinformatics", you will be trained as an expert in the collection, modelling, updating, analysis and presentation of spatial information. Using the most modern measuring systems, data such as the location or height of an object are recorded and evaluated, managed and analysed with the help of geographic information systems and specialised applications, or maps with a thematic focus are created. These data serve as the basis for a variety of information and planning tasks as well as decisions in technology, business, environment and politics. Geoinformatics is varied and demanding – it is a pleasant but challenging activity.
What distinguishes you
You are currently attending secondary school level A and your favourite subjects include mathematics and geometry. You have a preference for technology and enjoy working on the computer. You should also have good spatial imagination, logical thinking and a quick grasp. You enjoy working concentrated and carefully over a longer period. You have a good command of the German language, both spoken and written. If you wish to complete your apprenticeship with a vocational baccalaureate, we will support you in this.
