Your work ranges from acute geriatrics through rehabilitation after medical, surgical or orthopaedic interventions to outpatient therapy.

To strengthen our occupational therapy team at the Basel location, we are looking for a committed, responsible personality as of 01.11.2026 or by arrangement:

Your tasks:
- Co-responsibility for clarifying the overall situation and treatment of patients in the interprofessional team
- Holistic occupational therapy assessment and treatment of acute geriatric, acute inpatient and rehabilitation patients with clinical pictures from the fields of orthopaedics, surgery, geriatrics, internal medicine and neurology
- Conducting home assessments if required
- Conducting group therapies
- Electronic assessment and progress documentation as well as service recording
- Constructive interdisciplinary and professional collaboration
Your profile:
- Completed training as a Dipl. Occupational Therapist HF/FH (ideally with SRK recognition for foreign diplomas)
- Professional experience in the outpatient sector
- Experience in hand therapy
- Experience in treating tracheotomised patients is an advantage
- F.O.T.T. training is an advantage
- Joy and interest in working with elderly people
- Enjoyment of the challenge of finding occupational therapy potential in various situations
- Dynamic, team-oriented and resilient personality who constructively shapes collaboration in a lively working environment
- Independent and networked way of working
- Good PC skills for documentation
