Electronics Technician (Physics Laboratory Technician)
SPEAG, together with its partner organizations Foundation for Research on Information Technologies in Society (IT'IS), ZMT Zurich MedTech AG (ZMT), and TI Solutions AG, forms the alliance «Zurich43». The mission of Z43 is to expand knowledge and technology for (i) the characterization, optimization, and application of the EM near field, (ii) predictive modeling of interactions between physics and physiology in complex anatomies, and (iii) medical applications.
Your challenges:
- Manufacturing, assembly, and repair of electronic assemblies and test devices
- Procurement of components and consumables
- Creating necessary documents (production documentation, cost estimates, repair reports, etc.)
- Assisting in prototype construction
- Conducting quality tests and fault analyses
Your strengths:
- Vocational training as an electronics technician or physics laboratory technician or comparable education/experience
- Experience in device construction, wiring, and soldering (THT/SMD)
- Experience in analog/digital electronics including testing and measurement technology
- Enjoyment of precise, manual work
- Perseverance and high quality awareness
- Good PC user skills
- English language skills
